WAVES GTR3 GX INTERFACE FULL

Right now IвЂ™m using the guitar interface LINE 6 GX. GTR3 would be in my arsenal as well if I was to have two applications it is a very close second. I want to try GTR 3.5 for my home guitar playing. I'm not trying to derail the thread or anything or kiss up.

Then look at the price and what you get Waves is pretty much complete, but Amplitube has several packages in order to get all of the sounds and now they are finally going to offer a MIDI controller application.for another $80. Add that user interface and the MIDI controllability and other things like the tape decks and nothing comes close. Not always the best sound in every single instance, but usually on par or better. Its a decent application, but after trying out just about every demo I could get my hands on over the last few years I really do think that GR3 is the best thing going. Ended up keeping me from buying it (plus the fact that there was no standalone, tape decks, etc). I remember when GTR2 first came out I believe that it was only with the DI box and was a little pricey because of it. As computers gets ever more powerful, this will be less a of challenge of course.Д¬lick to expand.But if you already have something that performs the same function well it is a little misleading. Conversly, you can save lots of CPU by removing it, if you have resourece problems. You can see this in GuitarRig how the CPU meter rises dramatically as soon as you add a cab sim. It's not that many years ago since you really couldn't do it at all, and definetly not in realtime. You get much more information than just an EQ profile, and this is why is sounds so convincing.ДЄ drawback with the impulse technology is that it is very CPU intensive.
